  • 6 string Dean

Another rarity--a Dean I like. Reminds me of an old school Carvin LB76 with all the walnut. Maybe could use some small inlays but for $500 used I would consider this. 35" too. 5 bolt neck joint.

That's actually a really good price. I wonder how heavy all of that walnut is...

Yeah, it kind of reminds me of a cross between a Carvin and a Tobias.

I wish it could have a thru neck since it looks that nice but I kind of prefer bolt ons for rock. Tone isn't as dark with a bolt on.

My neck-through SR 6-string is brighter and more scooped than my bolt-on SR 5-string.

You can get a 35" scale neck-through Schecter Stiletto 6-string for just a little more money, too.

My 5 String. I'm no bass connoisseur, but I like it. Previous owner de-actived it and put an Aguilar pickup in.

LTD and Ibanez seem very competitive in the 6 string market right now, especially now that a lot of them use in house pickups and tone controls. Passive pickups and active tone controls seem to be a popular option for low and mid tier 6s right now.
