Pickup output question on Mod

I’m wanting to add a 5-string quarter pound p pickup to my music man stingray, I’m using a basslines alnico 5 for the MM pickup. Would the output of the p pickup be similar enough to the MM pickup to proceed with modding? Here is a mock-up:

I have caught myself wondering this as well. Volume wise I think you would be fine, perhaps even better than fine.
