Cop Shoot Cop had a unique sound going with two harmonised basses (or lead and rhythm bass if you like.)

The opinions expressed above do not necessarily represent those of the poster and are to be considered suspect at best.

I love this record, but damn the coolest thing is that you know John Paul Jones was listening to The Jesus Lizard in the 90s to have made this record.

The Omnific is another one - two bassists and one drummer from Australia. Instrumental stuff.

Paul was playing a semihollow 335 style guitar in the Sutcliffe Days
it was when Sutcliffe left he picked up the bass
they were actually more like Skynrd and southern rock with three guitars

                    Yes
I see three guitars and one bass in Paul's hands
I was going off what the guy at five watt world said in his video

Paul would play sutcliffes bass upside down when he didn't show up
Then he quit and nobody wanted to play bass
Paul relented and got the hofner

                    Still not two bass players

Look closely again. Stuart and Paul are both holding Hofner basses.

Not technically 2 basses, but a Chapman Stick and a Touch Guitar, which go lower than the bass range.
