This topic has been discussed on the old forum a few times.

Running two amps into a stereo cab (or 2 2x12's) is the easiest way to do it. You would plug your guitar into an a/b/y switch, running cable to both amps.

But, to run both amps into a single mono cab is just a wee bit more difficult. You'd need a switch that can put a load on the silenced amplifier while running signal from the other amplifier to the cab.

I don't know who makes a pedal like that...

It would most likely be a custom job. An expensive one at that.

The only way I can think of would be to have both amps connected to the cab at once, then use a AB switch between guitar and amp to change the signal path. Of course, you'd have to have a mixer betwen the amp and cab which could tolerate the power of two amps' output... fat chance!

You'll just have to get yourself a speaker simulator.

What amps? What Cabinet? It might just be easier (or better) to add another cabinet, and then ad an A/B box to switch between them

still. having 2 heads stacked on top of 2 - 2X12 would look cool, even cooler with 4X12's, but some short ppl wouldnt be able to plug in and adjust if need be the top head possibly...

I'm sure your post wasn't missed. Your solution just isn't practical in this case.
