What can I use to clean nickel hardwear? The headwear on my Dean EVO is corroded I guess you could say and it's been like this sice I got it. I just can't stand it any more.

It's not rust and I really don't know what you would call it. It's just one the bridge, stop bar and the tuning keys. I've tried Gibson polish and that doesn't work. I was gonna get some of the new Fender heardwear cleaner but neither of my local dealeers have it, one of them doesn't even carry the new Fender Polishes and ect.
