  • Ivory Saddles?

I'm looking for alternative saddles for a Fender Nashville Tele I'm mounting a Bigsby on with a Mustang bridge and ran across Graph Tech's man-made-ivory saddles. Anybody ever played a guitar with synthetic ivory saddles?

    Thanks

I wonder what a micarta saddle would sound like.

I had those on a strat...they were pretty nice.

I have a Tusq nut on one of my Strats. I like the tone of it, but I'd be hard pressed to describe it.

I use Graphtech's on my strats, but only on the E,B,G. I've also been real curious about the tusq saddles. Probably look nice on a white guitar, too.

The TUSQ stuff is, to my ears, very similar to the normal GraphTech String Saver saddles. I think you'll be hard pressed to tell the difference, but they're an amazing improvement to the tone of the guitar. Definitely one of the better investments you can make to improve the sound quality.
