  • Octave sound on a Boss GT-6?

How do you get this sound? On the factory patches, there's a few patches that sound like you're using an octave pedal. The thing is, I can't get this sound by itself, there's a list of effects, like harmonist, defretter, uni-vibe, etc. but no ocatve effect, yet the sound is definitly in there. I'm wondering if it's hidden under a different name, like guitar synth, or pitch shifter or something. Anyone know?

use the Harmonist function. You want to set one voice at the root note, one an octave below, and one an octave above. It actually track pretty well.
    Ain't nothin' but a G thang, baby.

You can also edit the existing patch, by going into the subroutines and turning off all the other effects.
