I was browsing their website yesterday and ran across this piece of work. I personally love the 335 look and feel, plus I pretty much worship some of the stuff Larry Carlton has done with Steely Dan, the Jazz Crusaders, and solo, too.

Re: Pretty new Gibson!
its a 335 in a slightly different color, which apparently is going to be worth $2k more. Now, I like Larry, but if your signature model is the same as a standard model but in a new color, then I don't see the point. Except Gibson is the devil, of course.Administrator of the SDUGF

Re: Pretty new Gibson!
Hmmm... there's a few things I'm not believing here.
1) A signature Gibson has maple/poplar/maple? Are you kidding me?
2) those stock Gibson humbuckers are complete trash - Larry can't possibly be using such subpar equipment, can he?Originally posted by kevlar3000I learned a long time ago that the only thing that mattered regarding tone was what my ears thought.Originally posted by ZerberusBetter is often the enemy of goodOriginally posted by ginormousCovers feed the body, originals feed the soul.
