    Hi dudes, i got to tell you that im very new to the recording and live sound area, so i have a question here:
    I want to record some musics, so wut digital recorder do u guys reccomend for me (cheap one) ????

    you first have to figure out exactly what you need this thing to do, like how many tracks you think you'll need, will you be doing all the mixing and mastering on this, etc etc... im sure if you go to any good music store they'll have plenty to talk to you about. they can show you everything from the cheapest little piece of garbage to the most elaborate machine you wouldnt understand until hours and hours and books and books of instructions.

        i agree with nathan..... but also u should really do some research on home recording and ask for help when ur stuck.... that way u can have a better idea of what u want.

          Definitly check out the Fostex Stuff, I gots me a VF-16 used and its just great..Even when messing about on one you use up a good few tracks, This one has 16 tracks but i'd say you could get by on 8 but 16s a good number
