    i just got my Fender Lite Ash tele and man does it sound awesome and it plays so easy.

                Good goin, EZ74. I have one too. In fact, if you've ever seen the picture of the natural finish one, that's my guitar. I took out the APTL-1 lead pickup and put in an STL-2 Hot, which is my favorite Tele pickup. It's funny: even though I'm the guy who gave Fender the pickup recommendation for that guitar, for my own personal axe, I swapped out one of the pickups -- just goes to show you, I'm as sick as any one of you.

                    Nice! Welcome to tele world It's such a versatile guitar and so timeless.. oh yeah, teles with Duncan pickups are even nicer.

                        question for ya....the fingerboard, is it "sticky" like other fender maple boards?

                            its not sticky at all..... i don't think ive ever played a sticky fender neck

                              i really like your choice for fender Evan... i dont have much experience with tele pickups but im really happy with the AP2s
