  • Need help with an old solid state amp..60s Baldwin.

    When playin for a few minutes, the volume just cuts off. And stays off until you twist the volume knob, then it "pops" back on. Then its good for a few more minutes, Ive only noticed it at lower volumes(I live in a apt, so it never gets above 2) And it seems to only do it or does it more frequently when using a distortion pedal(marshall Jackhammer) Any idea what might be happening? I love the tone this way and would like to fix it if possible. Thanks much...in advance. Peace

        check the solder joints for th einout jack and have the volume pot cleaned.
