  • Behringer GEQ3102?

Anyone have any experience or opinions on this, or other brands/models for that matter, stereo eq? I'm looking to add either a 2x15 or 2x31 band unit to my setup. I'd like to stay around $100-$150 if possible.

At that price, you will have total crap.
In that price range, get a Boss GE-7.

I'll likely be buying used. I could get the dual 31 band Behringer in the title of the thread for $80, or a dual 15 band DBX within my price range.

Assuming money was no object (and that I'm not looking at the fancy DEQ's), what would be an eq unit you'd recommend for some additional tone shaping. Please note that I already have a BBE unit in my rack.

Just trying to stress the point that I'm looking at >7 bands, but that there are plenty of units in my price range on the used market. Any have experience with the model I asked about in the first place?

              Re: Behringer GEQ3102?

I've been looking around at digital EQs for awhile now and stereo, 31 bands and midi are my basic rquirements with low noise and at least 20 bit D/A A/D converters.

The most promising I have found so far is the Yamaha YDG2030 but I haven't found a retail price for it. I believe Alesis also makes a digital midi EQ as well.

Look at the Behringer DEQ2496. Pretty impressive, but I think it's a bit on the pricey side.
