on the home page of Stewmac's site www.stewmac.com they are now offering a cheaper Floyd style bridge... i'm tempted to try one on one of my bashed up projects for fun... the base plate reminds me of the Gotoh's...

i need to place a stewmac order oneday... i may just order one for an experiment... i'm sure it is the same bridge as other places but since i have to do an order of new nut Files and a few other radius blocks i might as well bite the bullet for the $10 difference...
right now i think i'll use an Ibanez Edge trem on the guitar in question... but it may not work as the neck radius is 12 and i know the edge is for 16... i do have some other floyds... once i get into it tomorrow i'll see what i can do
