  • stewmac's new cheaper Floyd Copy offerings

on the home page of Stewmac's site www.stewmac.com they are now offering a cheaper Floyd style bridge... i'm tempted to try one on one of my bashed up projects for fun... the base plate reminds me of the Gotoh's...

    interesting.

I'd be tempted to just get a Gotoh though. it's a little bit more in terms of price, but probably a LOT more in terms of quality.

Same one from GFS is $70, or E-Bay for $50-$60.

i need to place a stewmac order oneday... i may just order one for an experiment... i'm sure it is the same bridge as other places but since i have to do an order of new nut Files and a few other radius blocks i might as well bite the bullet for the $10 difference...

right now i think i'll use an Ibanez Edge trem on the guitar in question... but it may not work as the neck radius is 12 and i know the edge is for 16... i do have some other floyds... once i get into it tomorrow i'll see what i can do

So are most acoustics. You should be alright
