Jackson/Charvel is on the headstock. Soloist body style, set neck, 24 fret, 1 Jackson active humbucker. Serial I believe was something like C703884. I know it started with C and had six numbers after it. Any help would be appreciated.

Is the logo on the stock primarily Charvel?? Guitar shaped logo? Sounds like a charvel model 5.Believe me when I say that some of the most amazing music in history was made on equipment that's not as good as what you own right now.

Thats the thing...I cant quite remember and Ive been calling my friend to find out the exact info and hes not answering. I was thinking the model 5 didnt come with active pickup though..maybe Im wrongComment

Hmmm.. I dont think so.. The 4 and 6 came with the mid boostBelieve me when I say that some of the most amazing music in history was made on equipment that's not as good as what you own right now.

All the Model series were made in Japan and very well made!

A little rusty on my Jackson specs since I don't frequent the Jackson/Charvel forum as much as I did years ago, but the guitar is a Charvel Model 5A (the regular Model 5 have two pickups). The pickup should be a J-80C.Comment
