ALRIGHT!! Derek B's site rocks, some amazing clips there and awesome deals on boutique amps as well. www.rocksolidamps.com But YA, I think its a preamp tube as well. Try that out and get back to us, it wont set you back much. BTW: HC is a pretty cool place most of the time.

I just downloaded a clip from rock solid amps of a savage 120 (like mine) playing creeping death and it sounded great! I also heard a clip of channel 3 playing some stratty thing, and now i definitely know that something isnt right with my amp As you will hear when i get my mic back and record some clips, channel 3 sounds sick as a dog, not to mention some of the others dont sound too crash hot. Im determined to find this problem.

Anyway, gotta go to work now and make pizzas...im a long time pizza cook now...and i love it!
