  • N(temp)GD: doubleneck

So I am heading to the studio to record my bands new CD tomorrow. There are a couple of tracks I've just been hearing a 12 string on. So I asked the owner of the shop here where I do most of my deals and he lent me his own 75 Gibson doubleneck. It's quite a guitar - sort of beautiful but flawed.
Blessed is he who expects little for he shall not be disappointed.

That should be sweet to use. A very generous gesture to be sure. Post a pic if you get a chance.....I love the way those look. One of these days I will buy a used Epi version. No justification to spend the money on a real one, at least for me. I'd also like to know how it sounds and how you felt it fit into your song, once you have a chance to use it a bit.

Yea - he is a generous guy. Of course it helps - not to toot my own horn, ahem - that I am honest, take care of gear and have never let him down as far as purchases, leases, credit etc. Funny how that goes - don't screw people over and they tend to trust you and you are def better off.

Hmm. I've purchased from BRG, but my experience was far from pleasant...

+1. I've had nothing but good dealings with the guys over at BRG.
