They must have changed the specs over the years. It turns out my brothers did come with two stock Washburn pups. This was probably in the mid-nineties(?), when he got it.

This guitar could use a balanced set to be honest. The middle position does nothing for me. Then again, I 'm just spoiled by my Les Paul lately. If I was to drop new pickups in it, they would probably both be a lot more vintage style than what is in there right now. It's very bright, so it might need a new set.

If I don't jive with it though, I think a student of mine could use it.

Bumping a dead thread, but I would just like to announce that since I only paid 150$ for this guitar, I do not feel bad doing things to it that I would not do to other guitars. This will include getting very high output pickups in, and possibly spraypainting the guitar. If that would be the case, pics to come!

instead of N4, you should put P_104 on it in holographic mailbox stickers

Looks like the south end of a north bound swine to me, but to each his own.

                        Congrats!!

Amazing score!! Should have a real Bill Lawrence in it.. They use the real deal on the high end ones.
Believe me when I say that some of the most amazing music in history was made on equipment that's not as good as what you own right now.
