Guess it is a price thing...not the most cheap thing on the planet, to stick on a guitar...
They use nice stuff on their highend things....
I'm gonna buy a Beck strat as well

I'll never understand why Fender makes everything under the sun, but can't make a bridge as good as that. They need to do away with the threaded wobbly arm design and do it like Gotoh or Wilkinson, where you can adjust the tension with an allen bolt.

Cause that is not how they did it in '59... You know all the cork sniffers would pee themselves.

I personally like the newer Hwy 1 bridge on my strats. I can use the vintage screw spacing with the narrower string spacing, and I get a steel block.

Gotoh also offers the above bridge with vintage saddles, which is quite nice.
