It there any company who makes a copy of a Gretsch White falcon that doesn't cost as much as a real one?

I think Arbor makes one, and I also think there's a white Electromatic that might fit the bill.

I think Vintage makes one but I'm not sure how good they are because I haven't played one.

sometimes people recommend this ibanez but indeed the styling and features are a lil off. Certainly needs a pickup swap.

I have both models - single and double cut away, that were purchased in middle and late 70’s.

I also have seen good and bad copies while visiting different places in China. But none that come close.

The single cutaway is the better of the two types and the one most often seen.

I saw a proguitarshop demo for a black penguin and I have to say it's almost sexier than a falcon.

Other Cool Cats (w/ rosewood boards) have Bigsbys. In the past, they even had white w/ gold hardware models w/ a Bigsby, but not right now.
