That was the way it shipped, still haven't set it up yet, as I took it apart and cleaned it thoroughly last night. I am contemplating trying to find an old Zebra JBJ (see Classifieds for WTB) to replace the old relic EMG 81 -although it sounds VERY NICE in it and I may wind up leaving it.

Thanks. It's the lighting...they're just old pieced together 80's Shredder Parts-o-caster variants mostly.

Here's a pic of the American Liberty I had until 1989. I had a black Baretta that I traded for it, then I traded the Liberty for a 73 Marshall half stack. I surely wish I had this guitar back.

Muttz, that looks awesome. I missed one of those last year for peanuts and it was mint... not exactly my cup of tea 'coz I'm an old git but I really wanted it. Looks like another great addition to your collection.

Thanks! Those Liberty Models are sweet & rare. I had an 86 Stagemaster that was really cool but I'm a fan of H/H Set Ups. That Liberty truly was a beauty.
