Re: The Famn Damily
Had modified prior post but decided to update instead:
I have cycled through a bit of gear in the last year going through my Post Divorce Recovery Phase and have settled into the gear you see below. All Aftermarket Custom Builds and I have to say without doubt the Warmoth Stratocaster and USACG Iceman are two of the best I've owned or laid hands upon (though the Butala PCI is equal quality and playability...the Mahogany Bodies on the Warmoth and USACG are tone monsters) and the Peavey 5150...well...it's simply phenomenal.

For a while those were going in the $600-800 range but now the few i've seen recently were $350-400. I almost picked up a sunburst one about a month ago but ended up passing on it.
Still got my Daughter's Venus (Black)and really like it for an inexpensive unusual guitar, plus, it's got a GREAT feeling and playing Neck. It's got a Seymour Duncan Antiquity Strat Neck/'59 Trembucker Set in it, CTS 500k Volume/added Fender TBX Tone and set up with .10-.46 Strings. I'm in the "love it" category. Great Bang for the Buck acquisition.
At one point in approx. 2000 I picked up a Sunburst Venus, Black Venus and 2 Fiesta Red Jag-Stangs. The Black Venus was the only one I kept and have recently pulled out of the case as my Daughter is now off at college and I always enjoyed playing the damn thing so much.
One other one isn't really mine either...
1991 Ibanez RG550R Neck/1991 B.C. Rich USA Assassin Body with DiMarzio Virtual Vintage '54 Neck/DiMarzio PAF Pro F Bridge and 1986 Ibanez Original Edge and Hardware in "White Gold".

Re: The Famn Damily
Man I just love every guitar you post. When I hit the lottery, you're gonna be my Official Guitar Finder/Buyer... I see lotsa guys post guitars they have, and it's usually "That's nice..." but every time you post, it's something I'd totally have picked up if I saw it. Good thing we don't go to the same guitar store, huh?
