  • Anybody played a Fulltone Soulbender?

    i have a chance to pick one up for $65 and ive always wanted this sort of pedal........has anybody played/owned one? does it have good sustain and smooth repsponsive sound?

    Flank, 65$ is real cheap for a Soulbender, grab it and check you PMs btw...

          I'm not sure that it's too dark, but I thought it was a bit too mid-rangey, sort of like a fuzz played through a wah at a mid-heavy setting. It did a great job of capturing the tone on Jeff Beck's version of "Ain't Superstitious". I would probably consider grabbing one for $65, but I couldn't justify it for $150. However, I know other people love it. I think it might be better suited to certain amps, but I don't know enough about it to go further.

              well, i would most likely be playing it through old fender amps or vox AC30 possibly

                It was made to be played with amps of that era, so I think you would be in good hands.
