Anyways, I vote for zebra. I think it would tie the whole appearance together better, with the black plastics and white binding. You can of course completely disregard my opinion on this due to our obvious difference of opinion expressed in the first line of this post.

Beauty of a guitar, by the way. To be honest, I think either option would look pretty damn good on it. Congratulations on the NGD.

Because its a LP Custom it has the Zebra themed fretboard...why not go for the Zebra Pickups to match.... Oh and take the pickguard off as well....absolute win after that !!!

I think Zebra has the edge but it is just a beautiful guitar. If you don't put some wild colored humbuckers in there it will look great no matter what.

Got it and did a pickup swap, updated crappy pics.

Some updated pics, taken in crappy indoor light with a crappy camera and by a crappy photographer. I'll see if I can get some better shots when the sun comes up. Just finished getting the pickups in, 57 Plus in the bridge and Pearly Gates neck. Th PG is a keeper, beautiful and full sounding. The 57 Plus is a little weak and bitey, so I'm not sure yet. I have a BB3 and a BBQ on standby should I decide to try something else.
