  • Gibson Les Paul Studio '60s Tribute

First off, thanks to everyone's numerous threads about these, now I'm GASing for one. When do they come out, all I see is pre-ordered? Is it just me or does the honeyburst and gold top are the only ones that have the look of a binding?

They're already out, I have mine

the binding look is just the maple top on the body, and yeah it's only visible on those two because they're au natual other than the top. The other ones just have a little, uhm... relicing, along a couple of the edges where the finish is worn through.

I still dig the white one though

You can see the difference between the maple top and mahogany back on the Worn Cherry as well

I figured as much, it's just like my studio deluxe that gives off a binding look, i kinda dig the faux binding

Check your local Craigslist and eBay. There's a few on my Craigslist here in northern NJ.
              My songs....enjoy! (hopefully )

Re: Gibson Les Paul Studio '60s Tribute

Wichita Band Instrument Company is a small musical instrument emporium located in the center of the USA. Specializing in instrument restoration, sales, and service since 1953.

ask for Shorts Guitars when you call, it's like a 3-in-1 shop

they do lots of online business and are the only mom & pop shop I know of left around here that sells enough Gibsons to keep their contract. And their prices are lower than MF on just about everything. So yeah, I think they'd be more than happy to accommodate you.

oh also don't pay attention to the "current inventory" on the site. Just call and ask for what you want.
