    has anyone any experience with these "Filtertron" pickup copies?



    I've been lusting over the thin jazz boxes and was wondering if this may be an option

    what do ya'll think?

            The Xaviere guitars are pretty good; certainly much bette than the price would lead you to believe. I have a Strat and played two others. $300 is pretty darn cheap, I'd have no reservations about buying one and their return policy is very good if I didn't like it.

            As to the Retrotrons, they're considered pretty good amongst the Gretsch folk. They're not TV Jones good but certainly better than the stock pups Gretsch puts in a lot of their guitars.

              +1 I like it too, I have a thin hollow body thats a "Vintage cherry burst". I think it looks best on that style of axe~
