      Thanks!

Onward and Upward! I finished researching the Baby Grand and AVT2P and wound up grabbing a Black Tone Pros AVT2P just a few minutes ago.

I know you said you don't like Kahlers, but they do make a fixed bridge that isn't near the pain in the butt their trem systems are and it would have covered that gaping hole perfectly!

This is their retail price. You can usually find them for about 30% cheaper if you know a dealer.

Only Music store I go to anymore. Quality products and employees. They are there to help you unlike Guitar Center where they wave the brand names in your face.

I sold the Humbuckers & Electronics for what I paid for the guitar...so it's a "Free Project" to me now!

                  Awesome score!!!
                  Gotta agree with 9finger.
These are the best way of dealing with the nastiness of a Kahler's gaping hole!

They kind of redeemed themselves when they came up with a solution to a problem of their own making.

                  Cheers,PJ

                    Of course...

after I sold the electronics on eBay for what I paid for the guitar, then I had a couple inquiries from people interested in the rest of the guitar and let the rest of it go for $250.00.

Oh well...I've picked up some parts lately; Duncan PGBJ & JBJ, DiMarzio DP182 Fast Track 2, 2 Matched Sets of Gibson HB-R/HB-L Humbucker (one uncovered in Black, the other w/Gold Covers), a Bill Lawrence Made In Germany OBL 450 Rail Single Coil w/the same type Circuit Board Back as the HB-R/HB-Ls, a couple of OFRs, a Kramer Classic II Tele Body, a Frankenstraat Reverse Banana HS Birdseye Maple Neck and I've got a Custom Mahogany LP Body being built off of a trade so I have/will have all I need to put together the two projects I've got going - Kramer Classic II Tele & Custom Frankenstratt LP w/Floyd.

The store manager is an idiot and apparently too lazy to look on ebay.

They've had some interesing pieces that I've been able to pick up cheap, but they do reference eBay for pricing, they're just so busy that their view is that they don't want to mess w/anything that requires anything more than a quick/easy repair and/or set up.
