I just discovered two things...
First I dicovered Guild makes electrics (only knew acoustics from the shop)
Second, I discovered I seem to like them !There's so much gear I want that the whole list would make a highway to hell if it was ever written down.

Looks weird (what's this electronic thing there ?) but nice. Gorgeous finish and gold hardware for the win. I just don't like the headstock, I prefer ESP/Jackson/Ibby pointy's.There's so much gear I want that the whole list would make a highway to hell if it was ever written down.

Thats a Roland Midi contraption that was added later . I agree , I really don't think the headstock goes with the rest of guitar.
But the rising sun inlays are very tasty.Comment

Yeah, I had a Guild Aviator (S-284) with a Kahler and EMG single coils. Really solid axe. Made in Westerly, RI.
I stripped the paint (badly), refinished in tung-oil (poorly) and basically ruined it...

Dali , that Aviator looks alot like the Liberator, except it had active Bartolini pickups.Comment
