    what are the main tonal/quality differences? how do they compare to honduras mahogany?

    The guitar that is pictured in the center below is a Warmoth build.



    It has periodically had identical necks save the fretboard which have been Indian and Brazilian at different points. There was no change in the sound I was able to detect. Note these are slab fretboard necks with dual action truss rods.

      I couldn't tell a difference sound-wise... they look different though...

          I've heard from most woods, unless you are using specific sound equipment to measure the tonal differences, you can't really tell especially by the naked ear.
