    That's a shame...

Definitely one of the coolest you have done. I don't even want to look as I have enough projects on my plate.

I'm doing a more traditional Jeff Beck style TeleGib. I have mostly Gibsons and only one Fender, so I was longing for the brighter wood and longer scale. The Rat Rod is mahogany and short scale, so it wasn't getting played compared to my Gibsons.

Too bad, but if it didn't "click" for you, thats what counts.

          I can see that...

I totally want to take a '50's Road Worn and turn it into a TeleGib.

            Yeah, this.

I always really liked that guitar, since the first thread I saw it in. Hopefully it'll find a good home. A mahogany short scale Tele sounds pretty damn interesting.
            I remember calloused hands and paint-stained jeans, and I remember safe-as-houses self-belief.

That's exactly what I'm doing, using this blonde/yellow Road Worn and the aged parts from the Rat Rod.
