Yes that is an 11-and-a-half high-Eb. Yes, I am special.

It took Nakedstrings.com a month to ship due to supply problems, but they seem to have been worth the wait. Very slinky-feeling and full-sounding with a good top end.

We shall see how long they last. Right now they're staying in tune and sounding/feeling great.

When they say naked, they mean naked. They came with like gauges wrapped together, all in the same padded envelop containing nothing else but a shipping invoice. Nice.

I use a 10.5 high E in regular tuning.

Yeah, I'm experimenting with the 0.115 and .15 for the two highest strings because I wanted a little more consistency in resistance/feel across the strings in my Eb standard tuning.

My short-scale Gibsons love these sets and will definitely continue to have them. My long-scale guitars (Tele, EBMM, Suhr) are still getting used to the idea.

I used to use a 9 set with low e and a swapped for 10's on my LP, then 11's when I moved up a size. It was pretty sweet, but had to cut it out once I restrung the whole thing with 11's. At least that was what the techies adviced me to do.
