Warren Parker @ Southeast Guitars does some damn fine work (yes...I know...it's common knowledge, goes w/o saying, hard cold fact ) and the wood is some lovely looking Mahogany. I am really looking forward to this one. It'll be getting either a Tru-Oil or Nitrocellulose finish, PGBJ/SDS-1/TB4J Pickups, Top Mount OFR, Black Hardware...

Thanks! I've done the Tru-Oil and spray painted and I've got Nitro left over from another project that wound up getting sold of so I'll have to practice on something to see how it dries, sands, buffs, etc.

You stole most of my idea lol! I was thinking of doing a flat top LP w/ a top mount Floyd. The only thing I was thinking of doing different was getting a Warmoth conversion neck so the scale would 24 3/4.

It does look really good though! Def gives me some ideas. I need to finish on what I'm working on first though!

Thanks for the kind words. I appreciate it. Just gotta Tru-Oil it a few coats, let it dry thoroughly, sand, buff and then off for assembly/set up.

That sounds like a nice project 9FINGER. I'll look fwd to seeing that one in the future.

Personally..I dig the "Project" Process as I wind up with EXACTLY what I want in the guitar.

By the way, that body is really nice. The flame really popped when you oiled it. I keep looking at the unoiled and can kinda/sorta see the flame, and then look at how awesome the oiled looks. Good job!

I may have to try a project one of these days. They look fun!
