Re: John Suhr guitars: what do you think of them?

I always laugh when people throw around phrases like "better than Fender," when guitars like Suhr and G&L have enough design differences to be very different guitars.

They're simply one more bolt on guitar of high quality, nothing more, nothing less. Buy the one that feels the best in your hands. For some that's a boutique strat, and for others it's a CS Fender or dialed in production model.

There's alotta love for Suhr guitars on this forum, and I'm sure it's warranted..

Another great builder I would highly recommend is Don Grosh .. he offers bolt-on and set-neck models, and the attention to detail (dressed frets, finishes, wood selection) is outstanding

        Seriously, exellent guitars.

Oh, like most women I date, definitely a doubble bagger.

Or, since it's an all-custom brand, just order one with a custom headstock.

Amazing guitars. Most other guitars will feel cheap after playing a Suhr.

I definitely would like to try out a Pro series model. Wish there were more stores that carried this stuff, but you can't blame them. Damn G.A.S.!
