    This is what I'm putting the bridge in. Someone filled in the the original two hole bridge mount and drilled it out for a six hole vintage bridge. Sorry for the confusion with the other picture.

      Just drop a vintage style tremolo in there and add 5 springs.

      With the trem flush against the body, it will be the same as a hard tail.

          measure the distance from the center of the holes to be sure it will fit the American trem

          attach the springs and cinch the claw up tight like Aryton and Funk suggested
