My office is a lot less clutterd with random pickups, pickguards, instruments and pedals than it was a week ago. And what's even better is I not only managed to completely offset my recent LP acquisition, but I actually came out a few hundred dollars ahead!

There's something nice about cleaning out old gear
---------------------------
The most popular thread I've ever made was 1) a joke and 2) based around literally the most inane/mundane question I could think of. That says something about me, or all of you, or both.

Re: There's something nice about cleaning out old gear
Tell me about it. I haven't sold anything in years and it's just recently that I've started clearing out the stuff I haven't been using. A couple of pickups and pedals that I'd forgotten I'd even owned are gone and I've got a new favourite guitar in my hands.
I haven't even sold the two guitars I want rid of yet.
Hoarding's for suckers.I remember calloused hands and paint-stained jeans, and I remember safe-as-houses self-belief.

Yeah, I've still got a Tele I want to sell, but first I need to reinstall the stock pickups. Or find someone who doesn't much care if it's actually wired up or not.---------------------------
