  • Blacktop Stratocaster Routing?

Anybody out there has a BlackTop HH Strat?

What is the routing under the pickguard?

I am thinking of getting one of those and turn it into either HSH or SSS (if there is room for the slant bridge).

Please let me know and thanks in advance!!!!

I got to say that the black top strat is a killer guitar for the money at least the one i played was! i could not believe it was stickered at $400
really nice neck(glossy for those that like a finish on the neck),smooth fret work and even very good stock pups they are alnico 5 higher output but they sound really good actually, and probably even better with the covers removed. and with the swimming pool route and some extra PG's you can have a variety of pup configs.

I played a BT Strat Saturday for comparison to the Wasburn I took home. Like many posts have said separately the pups are sort of mediocre but the guitar overall was pretty nicely put together.

The Washburn with 3 SSL-5s had a fuller tone with more bite and just won me over and I'm a sucker for US made guitars.

                  Re: Blacktop Stratocaster Routing?

I bought a Blacktop for 300 dollars uses, put in an Alnico II Pro neck and a CC bridge that I have had sitting around for years. I then ordered a Warmoth fat back flame meple neck ($179) bought some locking Gotoh tuners ($79) and got some graphtech saddles off a friend for a case of beer ($12)

The guitar KILLS! $579 later and I have a great strat that keeps up with anything out there.
                  Gravity...its just a theory
