  • Project Guitar, chrome or zebra?

I'm fixing up my strat copy. One humbubker, One volume. I'm getting a gfs crunchy pat. I just need to decide between chrome or zebra, flat black is boring. On one hand the zebra will be easy to magnet swap, but chrome looks good too...

Forgot to put a jack on those pictures, but you get the idea

Might as well ask some advice while I'm at it. I have a single humbucker black pickguard from gfs. How do I attach the pickup? Obviously I don't need a humbucker ring, or do I? I've never put together a strat pickguard with a humbucker before. Are the screws supposed to go into the wood or something? In this case plywood...

Notice the two holes on the side of the pickup hole? You would bolt the pickup in that way just like you were using a pickup ring.
      My songs....enjoy! (hopefully )

        Zebra.
Hard Rock - gain on 5 - singing about good times.

Heavy Metal - gain on 10 - screaming about something.

I guess I'm going against the grain, but I think the covered pickup looks miles better.

Zebra would have looked great, but I ended up going with a duncan detonator, got one used today for super cheap.
