Oh yeah. Now that's a real Schecter. That's from the days when they were a USA custom shop, isn't it? Before they became a mass importer of Korean guitars?

It's brand new. I just got it in Japan about a week ago. They only offer them in Japan. The stuff they sell here in the U.S. are the Korean stuff. I posted a couple of threads of some guitars I got in Japan with more info on the specs if you want to check them out.

Believe me when I say that some of the most amazing music in history was made on equipment that's not as good as what you own right now.

That's quite the turnout, the Jap Schecter? That blue quilt Jackson, man gorgeous (but a Jackson without a Floyd? Sacrilege!!! )

Recessed Wilkinson and a single Duncan Distortion.... it's plenty super for me. Fender neck on a one-piece mahogany body from Warmoth. It may not have a floyd, but I can still pull up on the bar, it stays in tune, and I can change the strings and tune up 4 times faster than a floyd.

Duncan Pickups in currently in use: '59 (rewound to PATB-3)/'59, Custom/AP2H, Tapped QP set for Tele, Crazy 8/Cool Rails, Screamin' Demon/Stra-Bro 90, Custom 5/Phat Cat, SP90-1/SP90-2, SMB-5D
