NGD: Gibson 1960 Tribute Les Paul

Just picked it up this afternoon. Plays like butter, and sounds like creamy P90 goodness!





It's hard to really capture the top. The sunlight picture is the closest to how it looks in the room. One piece maple top. Back is three piece... but it sounds so damn good!

Looks amazing. I played a friend's Junior with a single bridge P90 at a jam night a couple of weeks back. Now I HAVE to have a Gibson with at least a single P90 - it sounded wonderful. Congratulations, I can imagine how much you're going to enjoy it.

Those things are so hit and miss from what I've seen - anywhere from 2-piece to 4-piece backs on some of them.

I'd not want to buy one blind without a detailed description.

Really cool though - I'd totally play that thing.

It's funny, I actually went to get a Jr. However, the one that they had in stock didn't do it for me. So, on a whim, I picked up this one. And BAM! I had to have it. I still want a Jr at some point in the future though. But for now, this one cures my P90 sickness.

Man that's nice. I thought about getting one of those and putting some mini humbckers in it. I like the plain top and it looks as if you can see where the maple cap meets the mahogany body. That's a great looking guitar. Congratulations.

Very miss for me. All the ones that I've played and they were terrible! Damn Australia!
