Not sure I've ever heard of a "STORATOCASTER".

I'm not sure I've ever seen such illiteracy before either.

It's a Japanese thing, the Japanese speak and write in syllables and when a certain foreign word has a part where there isn't a syllable available they simply add a vowel so that it does.

In this case they will both read and pronunciate the word Stratocaster as Su-to-ra-to-ca-su-te-ru (again, they only have syllables that end with a vowel).

The only reason you don't hear this mess is that they are used to pronunciating the syllables su + to or su + te as sto and ste and they usually can also make it so that the final vowel on a word is almost silent.

Yeah, I know...
