Might have to give them a shot. I need to buy some new strings anyway. The last few packs of Dean Markleys I've bought have been crappy right out of the box and my Boomers never seem to last as long as they use to.

The problem with the darn Cleartones is that they stay new-sounding (like second day new) forever. My poor guitars never get any love.

That's exactly why I like them. I hate the tone of old strings, and even if I changed strings enough, they need to be stretched out each time which could take days
