    Might have to give them a shot. I need to buy some new strings anyway. The last few packs of Dean Markleys I've bought have been crappy right out of the box and my Boomers never seem to last as long as they use to.

      That's exactly why I like them. I hate the tone of old strings, and even if I changed strings enough, they need to be stretched out each time which could take days
