also I think it looks cool but only cause of the maple fretboard. thing is with Tort for me it would mean there is a lot of dark and nothing to life up sort of thing.

Right now, it's white with black covers and knobs. Maybe you should just get black knobs and switch tip.

Black with white pickup covers, knobs and switch tip could look pretty cool, too.

I see no harm in basically "thinking out loud" when contemplating aesthetic choices, especially with other guitar enthusiasts. They're bound to show you cool pics and give you ideas you may not have thought of, and talk you out of things like "purple on a sunburst".

by the way, get the green shirt. You probably have too many blue ones. and yes his guitar IS backwards

Awesomes mate! and it does look good actually!

I like the black idea.... cause I'll be using the Ibanez/DMZ SA series pickups for the time being and all the covers are.... BLACK! win for me.

I had thought about some funky dice shaped knobs, black with white dots or something funky like that.

either way I will likely buy a new guard the stock one is one ply and is not the strongest of all out there....

Nice ... you just described my two SSS Strats! One's Lake Placid Blue, white guard, black pickups and knobs. The other's vintage white, mint guard (incoming), and aged white pickups and knobs.
