    ? If your strat came with a vintage bridge can you do a stright swop for modern bridge (from Allparts)

    Drop in? No. You will have to fill in your 6 screw holes and drill out two large ones for the other bridge. A good compromise for Vintage trem users is the Wilkinson 6 hole trem. It has the locking saddles and heavier block of a regular Wilkinson, but has a 6 hole base with enlarged holes for more tuning stability when compared to the regular Fender trem.
