  • Want to build a Fender Strat - help

Basically I want a Robert Cray Strat with ebony fretboard.
Instead of custom shop, I found a FENDER loaded Robert Cray Strat - just needing a neck.
If I buy a finished Warmouth neck (with FENDER specs) - what are the chances it will fit correctly ?

I'm sure someone has any attempted this.
Worst case - I may need to do some filing ? Or is it possible it may just not line up properly at all ?

I know there are a couple of Strat models that Warmoth necks won't fit, including the 'Lonestar' I have. Have a look on Warmoth's site and see what's listed as incompatible, but it's a very short list and I don't recall the Cray model being one of them. Alternatively, drop them an email or phone, as I've always found them very helpful.
