NGD Fender Custom Shop Strat

One of my friends who desperately scrounging for money for NAMM show hit me up with an amazing offer I could not refuse. So i got this custom shop John Cruz strat with one of the nicest birdseye necks I have ever seen. I am still in awwww. I just got the guitar so I dont know all the specs yet but I know he change the pick ups which I was bummed about but I will being changing them back shortly. Im also not to fond of the gold pickguard so ill be changing that aswell. here are some pics.

thats an awesome neck, and i agree with the guard, maybe if it was a standard maple neck but the birdseye and gold dont match, pretty sweet guitar though, never played a fender custom shop guitar but i bet it plays awesome

perhaps this would be a good application for one of the new antiquity strat pre loaded pickguards

Thats so funny Cause I was just talking to my wife about that last night Black pickguard is what im thinking of doing on the guitar.

Thing plays amazing far exceeds my other strats but sadly Ive just been staring at it. Suppose to be getting a New Badcat in soon so I cant wait to get this guitar on some tracks.

I like the pickguard personally. But I've got one on my strat so I am a bit biased. Ha
