  • What should I know when checking out Ibanez Destroyers?

This popped up on a close by Craigslist. http://jackson.craigslist.org/msg/2813341463.html

    What do you think?

What should I consider when looking at these? I love Explorer style guitars. I've always like the way these looked but never played one.

    How about the price?

That that one appears to be the tiny Destroyer X model. (maybe weird camera angle)

You want full size, glue on neck or nothing.

Actually, ace is incorrect. The bolt on original dt50 and the mij reissue dt420 are certainly as good as the original set necks. Comingfrom someone who has owned a original dt400 as well as the reissue 420 and spent some time on a lovely blue dt50.

Personally i am not a fan of the later x series from 83 onwards as the neck shape and bridges changed.
