y'know I never thought I'd say this, cuz I normally hate gold hardware, but I think gold hardware and cream knobs/rings/pickups/switchtip would look KILLER on that blue top.

If it had binding, I would definitely suggest matching pickup rings (either white or cream, depending on the color of the binding). But without binding, I think black is the way to go.

I thought about gold hardware too. I like it mainly on white or black guitars, though. It can look sleazy on many colors IMO. Gold and blue works as a color combo in theory, but I think it would look gross on this particular guitar.

The wife (who also has impeccable taste, of course!) says nickel pickups and chrome hardware.

I may go Blueman with this and go alinco 8..... hmmmm
