The top one in the pic looks like it has the Warmoth Tele-Hybrid pickguard. I dig that one a lot. Looks sharp. I through together something similar on paper only with dual humbuckers.

a local g&l dealer had a couple one off prototype asats that were loaded with actual p-90s and while this is a good idea from fender I tend to prefer G&L price/quality.

Uh...I wonder who was it at Fender that didn't do the research. Assuming they named them after Gibson, I mean sure, the 'burst + tort guard is a color scheme from the LP Jr, but if it had two P90s it should have been called the Tele Special! If they had another naming system then it's all good.

That said, I'd love one of these bad boys.

I'm not a Tele guy, but I gotta admit those are hot!! I wouldn't mind owning one, especially with the P90's...

Nice. I'm getting tele gas. Maybe a tele bridge and a P-90 neck.

They're not built like P-90s, either. Still, G&L did a run of LP Junior-style Teles a few years ago, so they still beat Fender to this idea.

That is what I have been "building" for like the past year (aka it has been sitting on a shelf nearly finished, but I ran out of motivation).
