All I needed was some strings all, Bought this custon 24. forgot the strings.lol My wife is alittle miffed, but not to the point of me rideing the couch 4 a few nights. Dont know about the pickups yet. Plays super, love the neck.

Last time I was in a GC, they had a display of about a dozen various SEs right where you'd see them as you walked from the front door to the guitar departmetns. All sorts of beautiful guitars, lots of flames, different colors, single cuts, double cuts. Very tempting. I'm a hardcore Tele guy, but I know how you felt. I'd have done the same if I had the bank balance and semi-understanding wife.Tra-la-laa, lala-la-laa!
