  • St. Blues Bluesmaster II for an Agile AL-2000

I've got an Agile AL-2000 and someone offered me a trans red, cream binding St. Blues Bluesmaster II with a Bigsby for it. I've never heard of this guitar, is this a good trade for resale? I don't need another guitar, I've got to sell what I have to pay for the Les Paul I just bought. I'd probably keep this for a few months and then turn it over if I traded.
    My songs....enjoy! (hopefully )

Ya the Bluesmasters go for more than the Agile. I had a Bluesmaster III and it was a great guitar! I kind of wish I still had it. The one I had, had 3 strat pickups. The Bluesmaster II's are like Tele's, but that would be pretty sweet with the Bigsby! I would trade.

one of my students brought in his dad's ST Blues (something or other model) - it was kind of like a tele-gib. Really great guitar IMO. Beautifully built. nitro finish. light and resonant.

The Older St. Blues guitars are really great...not sure about the new ones.

I had a St Blues Eliminator for several years - I was trying it out at the Frankfurt Music show when Seymour turned up and gave us all a lecture on potting pickups.
The humbuckers on it sounded OK but squealed when played at high volumes, of course. This is the same model and colour I had -think I bought it around 1986/87
          Sadly it was stolenhttp://www.vintagesaintblues.com/eliminator2.htm

I wouldn't hesitate to buy another one btw.

New ones are Korean made right? They're kind of cool guitars for what its worth. I played a new one somewhere not all that long ago but can't remember where?

They actually discontinued their korean line a year or two ago. Now the only ones you can get are their high end axes that they make in Memphis.

Thanks for all the comments! The fellow didn't notice that I had said my Agile had a ding on the back. He only wanted it if it was mint. Put it on eBay and it sold last night. I will most definitely miss that guitar. If I didn't buy a Gibson, I wouldn't have sold it.

Oh wow. This one looked nothing liked that. Kind of looked like a mutated tele...a little.
