      Okay, I have decided on the pickups. I will go with a JB/Jazz set in zebra. I'll also use 250k pots. I'm also going to do this wiring.

        Looks great and will be a fantastic alternative to your "Tele" Tele.

        I prefer the look of the Wilkinson bridge to the Strat-type one. I have a Wilkinson Tele bridge and those compensated saddles work great.

            Dont mean to go against everything, but why not just get push pulls for each pot and have more options. Also the original tele-gib had a 3 way toggle which could also be cool
            i saw this band, and thought they were really great, until i saw what the guy was playing through........

                Had push-pulls on a lot of guitars. They wear out pretty quick under my heavy use. I like switching anyway.
